We recorded this Dylan classic as an upbeat bluegrass-inspired number on our “Barnburner” album.mCan’t remember how the slowed down, extended reggae version started getting played, but we’ve been playing this version (albeit irregularly) for a few years now.
I can’t be certain, but this might be the first time we played it this way. This was recorded July 12, 2005 at Winston’s in Ocean Beach, CA (San Diego). The lineup at this show was Trevor Rogers (guitar/vocals), Chris Jonat (bass), Jason Homey (banjo), Andrea Lewis (fiddle), and Gord Robert (drums).
